WHAT ARE AGE AND SUN SPOTS?

LIMELIGHT

  • Cutera LimeLight delivers non-invasive light treatment with minimal discomfort. Improving skin tone and surface imperfections associated with aging and photodamage.

  • Can be used for:

    • Face

    • Neck

    • Chest

    • Hands

    • Arms

  • Treats redness as well as telangiectasia (tiny veins) and brown spots. 

  • Patients experience a mild pinching or stinging sensation when the pulse of light is delivered.

  • Treatment time depends on area treated.

    • Typically chest, neck, and face treatment is about an hour. 

    • 1-3 treatments are usually sufficient to see results. 

  • Healing Process:

    • Immediately after the treatment, pigment will start to darken and skin may appear slightly red. This lasts a few hours up to a day or two. Make up can be temporarily used to cover the redness. 

    • Within 1-3 weeks the dark areas will flake off and fade. Redness will decrease and complexion will improve. 

  • New brown spots, telangiectasia, and diffused redness will appear with new sun damage, but they too can be treated.

    • Applying broad-spectrum sunscreen is imperative for long-lasting results.

    • Rosacea is chronic and cannot be "cured" with a laser, however, it's appearance can be improved and dietary changes can help as well.
